Hi, I’m Lucy, the owner of More Paws Pet Services!
More Paws offers a wide range of pet services, carried out by myself, a Registered Veterinary Nurse of 10 years (with 5 years as an emergency critical care nurse). I am a friendly & caring professional with extensive experience in all domestic species, including reptiles and birds, and a passion for dog behaviour.
I left the Veterinary industry in April 2021 for personal health reasons, and decided it was time for a change! More Paws has since gone from strength to strength, gaining an excellent reputation in the local area, and a fantastic & much-loved pack of regulars.
We are a fully licenced & insured boarding & daycare facility, offering a home from home service with a lot of love! You can travel in peace knowing your dog is enjoying their holiday just as much as you’re enjoying yours, with constant access to mental enrichment, and a whole lot of walkies. The service is tailored to the individual’s needs, with a specialist service on offer for poorly pets requiring medication & special care.
My home has been fully converted to accommodate our canine guests, with access to their own TV for a bit of doggy YouTube, crates of multiple sizes, their own futon, and endless toys & chews!
We have a fully landscaped, very secure enclosed garden with a custom built outdoor hot water shower. Additionally, we enjoy convenient access to miles of beautiful off road rural walking, and regularly visit secure fields for a good play!

In addition to boarding & daycare, I also provide Veterinary nurse consultations right to your door.
Nail Clipping (including nail anxiety training), anal glands, and advice clinics are just some of the services on offer.
